Lucy 2nd June 2020

I miss you more and more every day. I remember the day I met you, I was sat in the art room playing guitar and you came in to meet the teachers, and even though things were incredibly difficult you gave me a little smile and things grew from there. I remember us spending the evenings together making lists of ways to cope and things we wanted to do when we recovered. You had such a massive impact on my recovery and I am so grateful for that. I remember “flying” up and down the corridors and in the garden with you, and I will always remember your beautiful (and infectious!) laugh echoing as we ran with blankets as “wings”. I remember when we made Easter bunny masks out of paper plates and giggling because mine looked ever so slightly demonic. I love you smel, and I am forever grateful to have had you in my life From Lucy b, your fellow hedgehog xxx
