I found a lovely cuddly elephant toy in M&S when you were little.  He was so beautifully soft, that even though we already had so many soft toys, I fell in love with him and bought him for you.  You loved him too and he was a firm favourite throughout your childhood.  You called him Ephant and took him on all our holidays.  I am looking after Ephant for you now Eloise, he is sleeping in my bed, and he had a little spin in the washing machine last week, because I know you liked him to smell good.
