I rememer on your 11th birthday we went to see a Harry Potter film in Islington.  It was towards the end of just over a week of riots in London, and it felt as if there was a curfew in place, people were afraid to be out after dark.  It was earily quiet on the streets as we took the bus home, even though it was only around 6pm.  We were all glad when we were safely back home, eating birthday cake.
