I remember you learning to dive in a little pool in Competa, Spain.  You met a young Spanish girl a similar age to you, I guess you were both about 7.  You didn't share much common language but she taught you to dive (she was at the pool everyday because her mum was working there) and you played clapping / rhyming games and looked at comics together.  You were determined to master the diving and really enjoyed making a connection with a new friend in spite of the language barrier.
