You took on the role of parking monitor once residents' only parking was introduced in Albert Road. Whenever any guests arrived you were ready with the parking vouchers.  When Nan and Grandad stayed you would keep an eye to see when the vouchers ran out and make sure new ones were ready to go in. You very very organised, had a good memory and were generally 'on it'!  If there was a slip up and someone did get a ticket, you would get really stressed, but that did not happen often.
