When Nan's memory was starting to decline you had such a lovely way with her.  I noticed you quietly helping her and prompting, without drawing attention to the things that she was struggling with.  You would help make sure all the key items made it from the kitchen to the dining room and go to fetch things that you knew she would be needing.  When she did something silly you'd sometimes have a giggle about it with her, but you always made sure to treat her like the adult in charge and never belittled her.  Even at a very young age you were very sensitive and very kind.
