We spoke on the phone nearly every day. We seemed to never run out of things to talk about and we would chat for hours, gossiping and laughing and crying. We told eachother everything, without judgement. Sometimes we didn’t need to say anything and would just leave the phone on while we did other things in companiable silence. Just knowing we were right there was comforting for both of us I think. I miss catching up with you about your day and i miss telling you about mine.
