The Christmas after Francie was born, you children found an old camera with an almost full reel of film, and you decided to take lots of photos over the holiday period. You were little and frankly very much still learning the art of photography.  We got the pictures developed in the post (as one used to) and had a whole pack of photos returned to us which were blurry, blocked by little fingers, lop-sided or just contain feet.  The notable ones where you managed to get a person in the photo, generally contain someone looking absolutely awful as we all went down with bad colds and flu that year. This was long before the era where you just delete the pictures which don't work out.  Every now and then I stumble upon that set of photos and it always makes me laugh.
