Grandparent's thoughts

Eloise was a part of so many family gatherings, Christmas's, birthdays, holiday trips. When she was very little, happily playing sleeping lions with her cousins, and later a great Karaoke exponent. Whenever we visited she greeted us with a whimsical and slightly conspiratorial smile that invited you to get to know her.

As time went on we had many trips to the theatre. With Kirsty, she gamely accompanied the older generation to 'A midsummer night's dream', rather dubious about whether she was going to enjoy it at first, but then full of laughter and delight by the interval.

Eloise was quite an artist, and took a shine to pottery, she spent a delightful few days with us, learning to throw pots with Mo, the local potter. She proudly took home a pretty dish made in the pottery.

Eloise was a very warm and beautiful human being, it's so sad she is no longer with us.
