Some of the pictures we’ve uploaded were of Jenny and Graeme’s wedding in Wales many years ago. It was my first extended weekend with Adam and family, and a great chance to spend a decent time with the children. Eloise and I became rather bored during what had become a much too respectable walk so we decided to splinter off and track the other grownups through the shrubbery. We crept through rhododendrons and from bush to bush, following the others in silence and planning our attack (while giggling). Finally we made our move from the top of a steep bank – we leapt out and roared down just ahead of them. Eloise, better on her feet, managed to stop in time, but I was less lucky and went barreling over the path and fell pretty heavily down another slope on the other side – much to her huge amusement.
